23 days until Aubree and I fly to WV!
31 days until we go to Disneyland with Rob's family!
33 days until I turn 28!
52 days until my mom, sister, niece, and nephew fly here to visit!
53 days until we make another trip to The happiest place on earth!
56 days until Aubree's first birthday!
70 days until Rob turns 30!!

April and May are going to be WONDERFUL!!

New York!

My brother lives about 3 hours from NYC, so while we were in WV, we decided to take a day trip to the city.
Of course the only day it decided to rain while we were there was the day we decided to do this. Oh well! We still had a great time. All 15 of us! :) None of us had ever been in the city before so it was a wonderful time for everyone. Luckily, we manage to keep everyone together too. I thought for sure we'd lose a kid before the day was over. Ha. Since it was just a quick day trip, we weren't able to get out and see everything we wanted, but we did cover some good ground in six hours.

sooooo far behind blogging. Here's a semi-quick update. 

September

We took a quick trip to WV in the middle of September. I was very happy to see the progress my mom had made. It was so great to see her walking again. One of my very good friends from back home just started photography, so she took a few family pictures for us while we were there. I think she did a great job for never having worked with a big group like ours before. I loved just being home with all the family. Here are a few pics from the trip..

October

November

I had my first flight alone with Aubree in November. We flew back to WV for a week visit. I was nervous flying without Rob, but Aubree did a great job and we had a fun, relaxing trip. We stayed in Napa for Thanksgiving and had dinner with his family. It was nice having everyone together. Oh and I made my first apple pie. Actually, my first pie ever. Ha!

December

We took Aubree to the Jelly Belly Factory to see Santa. She wasn't afraid of him at all. It was pretty cute. We celebrated Christmas with each other and Aubree on the 17th and then had Christmas with his family on the 18th before flying to WV on the 20th for a week and a half. Christmas was so much fun. I loved spending all the time that we did with Rob's family and mine. It was so fun watching Aubree try and open her presents as well. She was really good at tearing the bows off the packages and she didn't do too bad at ripping the paper off, but she got tired of it after about two gifts. We had a great time in WV, but I'll post more about that later.

So that's part of what we've been up to the last few months. I do want to be better about keeping up with my blog, but who am I kidding? I'm sure that won't happen :)

This is pretty much how Aubree looks after every cereal feeding. That is why a bath is a must when we are all finished. By the way it looks you would think I let her feed herself, but I promise I don't :) And I also promise that some of it does make it into her mouth (maybe.) Ha! 

Oh how she makes me smile.

Labor day

After waking up Monday morning, we decided to go to the zoo. We wanted to try one we have never been to before so we headed to San Jose. 

My thoughts: 1) very cute park 2) not much of a zoo 3) waste of money (for now)

It was a cute place, but a waste of money for us. It's not really what I would call a zoo. I think they had about 5 animals. Okay, I may be exaggerating a little bit, but honestly no more than twenty. The park part of it was nice though, but good for parents with children at least two years of age. So..not so good for Aubree. Ha! It was pretty much a flop for us, but at least we now know. We will probably go back one day, but at least not for a couple of years. I did take a few cute pics of the babe though since it was her first trip to the zoo (sort of.)
